Voice of Vox Notiva via Taiwan from Above

Voice of Vox Notiva via Taiwan from Above

July 15, 2023

The California Line Dance Association of America (CLDAA) was established in 2004 and has been serving the San Francisco Bay Area community for nearly 20 years, earning widespread recognition. We are honored to have been elected as the Director of the Vox Nativa Children's Choir Touring of North America, with a public performance in San Jose. We are excited to take on this important task as we are touched by the story of the Vox Nativa Children’s Choir. Fifteen years ago, a group of Silicon Valley residents were invited by friends to climb Jade Mountain in Taiwan and heard some songs from children before they came down the mountain. Without any expectations, the music of these indigenous children completely captured the hearts of these Silicon Valley residents. Moved and stunned, they had a hope that the beautiful voice of the Vox Nativa Children’s Choir can be sustained for generations to come. Therefore, for more than a decade, these Silicon Valley residents have been supporting Vox Nativa Children’s Choir’s training and education in those remote areas. Since then, Vox Nativa Children’s Choir has been invited abroad to perform. Taiwan Vox Nativa Children’s Choir is one of the best choirs, if not the best.
We understand the importance of our mission. The team and I are not just working towards the success of the concert, but also hope to let the mainstream and overseas compatriots hear the Choir's music as well as see the importance of education, culture, art, and public welfare. We hope that the indigenous children can have the opportunity to secure a better environment and receive a better education; even have the chance to study abroad to establish an international perspective and return to their tribes. We are also very grateful for the long-term selfless dedication of volunteers in remote villages. Therefore, we would like to invite you to make a kind donation to help those underprivileged and motivated children. I hope that the performance at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts on July 15, 2023, will bring a heartwarming and touching musical feast, and allow everyone to share the beauty of the Vox Nativa Children’s Choir.
